A Better Way To Work Out!

Whether you spend hours a week on the treadmill or skip cardio altogether because you don’t have the time for it, I’m here to tell you that there’s a better, faster, and more effective way to work out.

Cardio, short for cardiovascular training, is meant to get your heart rate up and increase blood circulation to the heart. The heart is a muscle and needs to be worked in order to become stronger, just like other muscles. Therefore, failing to work the heart results in a lack of strength in this vital muscle.

In addition to keeping one of the most important organs in your body healthy, cardio workouts increase metabolism, improve the ratio of ‘feel good’ hormones to help improve depression and fatigue, and improve the delivery of oxygen to muscle tissue to reduce muscle soreness.

Regular cardiovascular exercise also helps to maintain a healthy weight, prevents and manages diabetes, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Needless to say, cardio is crucial to health!

Unfortunately, many of us have been conditioned to believe that the only way to do cardio is to spend hours running on the treadmill each week - but not everyone has the time or desire to do that!
