Our bodies are pretty amazing! We are all equipped with natural mechanisms to remove toxins from the body. However, our current lifestyles may be overworking these processes. The liver, sweat, and urine are all ways your body rids itself of toxins. Allowing organs a time to rest can help ensure optimal function.

A detox diet is a great way to take the pressure off your organs so you can keep them healthy for the future. Because there are some many different types of detox diets out there, it can be difficult to know how to choose the right one for your needs. I can help!

Detoxing your body can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. It’s essential to have an understanding of the body’s natural detox process and provide your body with the nutrition it needs during a detox. Because detoxing can offer so many benefits to your health, I’m hosting a class called Demystifying Detox, on Monday, May 13th at 5:00 pm CDT, to discuss all that you need to know before embarking on a detox plan.

Getting Started

During this class, I have a ton of valuable information to share! I’ll start by discussing what it means to detox and explain why someone would want to detox. Next, I’ll review some of the most toxic foods you’ll want to eliminate during a detox and share beneficial foods you'll want to incorporate in your diet.

My goal is to help you understand the symptoms of a toxic build up, including bloating, headaches, and fatigue, and share how to get started with a detox. Finding the right detox for your needs will help get you the results you want.

I’ll end the class by discussing how detox works and provide a few recipe examples to help get you started! This is an interactive experience where participants are encouraged to engage, ask questions, and share personal experiences. Will you join me?
